Cadnam Farm is located to the north of Alton and is approximately 12.5 hectares/30.9 acres. The development will create 275 new homes, which equates to a density of 35 dwellings per hectare. 40% of the homes will be affordable with a mix of sizes from one bedroom apartments to five bedroom houses with an emphasis on family housing. Homes will be predominantly two storeys with potential for a limited number of three storey buildings in the heart of the development.

Landscaped footpaths within the site providing access to new areas of public open space with a central children’s play area provided. Natural activity areas along the northern boundary of the site including a trim trail and woodland walk. All protected trees, existing trees of quality and hedges with ecological value will be retained and integrated into the site.
